Mirai Video, operated by Mirai AI Inc ("Mirai Video," "we," "us"), is based in San Francisco, CA. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website or text us at +1 (628) 295-7938, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Your mobile number, when you enter it in the signup form on our website and tap “Send code”, or when you text our number. To confirm the number is yours, we text it a one-time verification code that you enter on the site.
- Your consent record: that you agreed to receive texts, how you opted in (by submitting the site form after seeing our SMS disclosure, or by texting START), the exact disclosure text you were shown and its version, when you submitted it, when our server received it, and when you confirmed your number with the one-time code.
- Browser information: when you sign up on the site, we store your browser's user-agent string (which describes your browser and device type) with your consent record.
- Messages and content you send by text: the texts you send to +1 (628) 295-7938, and anything you share there, such as your website address, logo, images or other files, and the changes you ask for.
- Public website content: to make your video, we may visit, screenshot or screen-record the public pages of the website you send us.
- Server logs: our hosting provider records standard request logs automatically (such as IP address, date and time, the page requested, and browser type) to run and secure the site. When you request a code, we also use your IP address and a short-lived cookie to limit repeated requests.
We don't use advertising or analytics cookies on this site. We use only short-lived, strictly necessary cookies to complete phone verification and prevent abuse.
How we use it
- To reply to you by text and provide customer care.
- To make your launch videos, send them to you, and make the changes you ask for.
- To provide support and answer your questions.
- To keep a record of your consent and to honor opt-out (STOP) requests.
- To confirm that you own the number you entered, and to operate and secure the site and prevent spam and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Text messages (SMS)
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services.
Mobile information includes your mobile number and your SMS opt-in data and consent record. Our text messaging provider, Twilio, processes it only to send the one-time code that confirms your number and to send and receive the messages you asked for. We do not sell or rent mobile information.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. See our SMS Terms for details.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the service, and only as needed to provide it. These include Vercel (website hosting) and Twilio (text messaging), along with tools we use to communicate as a team and to make your videos. Service providers may use your information only to provide their services to us.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to make and support your videos, then delete or de-identify it. We keep consent and opt-out records for as long as needed to show we honored your choices and to meet legal obligations.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing help@miraivideo.io. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), including the right to know, delete and correct your information, and the right not to be discriminated against for using these rights.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
Our service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. We'll post the new version on this page and update the effective date.
